Nero wolfe's alien brother in the case of the louche fly

I'm taking a hard turn into comedy with this futuristic parody of Rex Stout.  Archie Goodwin is one of the great voices of American literature and I rather effortlessly channeled his voice for this mystery--perhaps with assists from Timothy Hutton and William Shatner (yes, Captain Kirk did a Nero Wolfe pilot before he was promoted--you can see it on YouTube).  I suspect Mr. Hutton studied his performance when he rehearsed for the A&E version, but I might be wrong.  Lionel Stander also played Archie, and his gruff voice would probably be more suitable for my character Goody.  Ultimately, though, this is Rex Stout's voice, because I read most of the Nero Wolfe books as a young man.  I suppose it says something about me that I've spent much of my life with Archie's voice in my head--possibly to my detriment!
